Question 1

How do you plan a day in a cruise port?

Accepted Answer

Start from the ship's hours alongside, subtract the transfer into town and back, and fill only what is left - ordered by walking distance and by what is actually open. That is what these itineraries do: every port has a ready plan with times, walking legs and meals along the way.

Question 2

How much time do you really get in each port?

Accepted Answer

Less than the schedule says. A ship alongside 07:00-19:00 does not give you 12 hours in the city: you have to disembark, reach town and get back with a safety margin. Each port page here shows the real window - when the plan starts, when it ends, and how much is held back for the transfer.

Question 3

Are there itineraries with kosher food?

Accepted Answer

Yes. MupDay keeps a database of kosher places in each city; with the kosher filter on, meals are chosen only from those and the day is built around them. Shabbat observers also tick "Shabbat observant": Shabbat days then hold only free sights on foot and no restaurants.
